Which tournaments does Alexander Zverev play, and where has he been most successful? This page sorts Zverev’s tournaments by category: the Grand Slams, the nine Masters 1000 events, the ATP Finals, the Olympic Games, the German tournaments in Hamburg, Munich, Halle and Stuttgart, and the team competitions. For each stop you will find his best results, his finals with scores and his win-loss record. At the end comes his tournament schedule for the rest of the season. As of 4 October 2026.

How Zverev's tournament season is built

The backbone of every ATP season is the four Grand Slams and the Masters 1000 events, which are largely mandatory for players at the top of the rankings. On top of that come ATP 500 and ATP 250 tournaments, which Zverev picks specifically as preparation, and at the end of the year the ATP Finals for the eight best players of the season. In 2026 he opened with the United Cup in Sydney and the Australian Open, played Acapulco in February and then the two big hard-court events in Indian Wells and Miami. On clay came Monte-Carlo, Munich, Madrid, Rome and Roland Garros, on grass Halle and Wimbledon. The summer brought Canada, Cincinnati and the US Open, September the Davis Cup and the Laver Cup, and since late September the Asian swing with Beijing. His results at the four majors are covered in detail on the page about Alexander Zverev's Grand Slam record.

Below Masters level, Zverev has won 14 titles: six at ATP 500 events (Washington 2017 and 2018, Acapulco 2021, Vienna 2021, Hamburg 2023, Munich 2025) and eight at ATP 250 events, including his first title in St. Petersburg in 2016. All 44 finals with opponent and score are listed on the page Career: titles and finals.

Masters 1000: Zverev's record at all nine events

At Masters 1000 level, Zverev has won seven titles and reached 13 finals. In total he has 84 appearances and a 183-77 win-loss record. The table shows his results from 2017 to 2026; Shanghai and Paris 2026 are still to come.

Madrid and Rome: the clay-court Masters

Madrid, at 30-7, is his best Masters event. He won the title there in 2018 against Dominic Thiem (6-4, 6-4) and in 2021 against Matteo Berrettini (6-7(8), 6-4, 6-3). He lost two finals: in 2022 to Carlos Alcaraz (3-6, 1-6) and in 2026 to Jannik Sinner (1-6, 2-6). In Rome he won his first Masters title in 2017 at the age of 20, beating Novak Djokovic 6-4, 6-3 in the final. In 2018 he lost the final to Rafael Nadal, and in 2024 he beat Nicolás Jarry for his second Rome title. In 2026 he went out there in the round of 16 against Luciano Darderi.

Canada, Cincinnati and Paris: titles on hard courts

In Montreal in 2017, Zverev won the final against Roger Federer 6-3, 6-4. In Cincinnati he took the 2021 title against Andrey Rublev (6-2, 6-3) and then reached the semifinals there three years in a row (2023 to 2025). In 2026 he lost in the round of 16 to Tommy Paul despite holding a match point in the second-set tiebreak. In Paris he lost the 2020 final to Daniil Medvedev; in 2024 he won his seventh Masters title there, beating Ugo Humbert 6-2, 6-2.

Indian Wells, Miami, Monte-Carlo and Shanghai

Zverev is still missing a title at four Masters events. In Miami (2018 final against John Isner) and Shanghai (2019 final against Medvedev) he came close. In Monte-Carlo he has reached the semifinals three times, and in Indian Wells he made his first semifinal in 2026. A striking pattern this year: Sinner stopped him in the semifinals in Indian Wells, Miami and Monte-Carlo, and in the final in Madrid.

ATP Finals: two titles at the season finale

Zverev has qualified for the ATP Finals of the top eight players for the ninth time in 2026, according to the ATP as the second player after Sinner. In London in 2018 he beat Federer in the semifinals (7-5, 7-6(5)) and Djokovic in the final (6-4, 6-3). In Turin in 2021 he beat Djokovic in the semifinals (7-6(4), 4-6, 6-3) and Medvedev in the final (6-4, 6-4). He also reached the semifinals in 2019 and 2024. In 2025 he went out in the group stage: he beat Ben Shelton but lost to Sinner and Félix Auger-Aliassime. His overall record at the season finale stands at 18-12.

Team competitions: Davis Cup, United Cup and Laver Cup

Zverev made his Davis Cup debut in 2016 against the Czech Republic. At the 2025 Final 8 in Bologna he won both of his singles matches, against Francisco Cerúndolo and Jaume Munar, but Germany lost the semifinal to Spain. In September 2026 he beat Matej Dodig and Dino Prizmic in the qualifier against Croatia. The win over Prizmic was the decisive point, sending Germany through to the Finals.

Zverev won the United Cup with Germany in 2024: in the final against Poland he beat Hubert Hurkacz 6-7(3), 7-6(6), 6-4, and he also won the mixed doubles with Laura Siegemund.
